Chaerim & Derek
Chaerim and Derek's wedding day included (not necessarily in this order):
1. A Korean tradition whereas Derek carried his mother-in-law on his back around the ceremony site
2. An impromptu Jewish chair-raising outside along the Alexandria waterfront.
3. A bridesmaid's dance party with a street musician.
4. Chaerim and Derek stepping out of the reception for a few minutes to visit the spot where they were engaged on a bench overlooking the Potomac River.
The couple are both professional musicians and also had a song sung by an opera singer friend during the ceremony and wonderful music throughout.
